Default L92 head owners come in

Brand new heads and slightly ported from LME. I noticed the intake ports had some casting flash removed. Right on the apex of the curve, there seems to be an imperfection where the wall got thin and broke through. All cylinders have this flaw. Sorry I am at work, so I don't have any pics to show. Is this normal when these headsare ported?????????????

1st post some pics and inform LME its only fair to give them a shot at correcting or explaining. Rocker studs holes enter into some ports (normal) some use thread locker or high temp Jizz. If a water jacket was hit, then welding is required but that would not be acceptable on newly purchased heads. Im sure if the heads were recieved ****'d up, theyll make it right.

The L92s always have pretty severe flash that needs to be cleaned up. Looking at my own and other users it seems to be a common problem. Definitely post some pictures-If they hit the water jacket I would want nothing less than new heads.

Not sure if the water jacket goes that high. Maybe the rocker arm bolt holes. 9 a.m. isn't getting here soon enough. I had this project on hold all weekend because of this.

Here are the pics. I talked with Brian at LME, he states it is normal with agressive porting. The holes lead to the rocker stud holes and are sealed when the rocker bolts are applied with thread sealer. Does everybody else see this too?

I hit the rocker bolt hole when I hand ported my L92's. Don't worry about it man. The old cathedral style LS heads did the same thing with aggressive port work. Just use a thread sealer as mentioned and you're golden.
