anyone compared portwork on ported FAST intakes?

While porting a FAST manifold is not rocket science it is a good idea to go with a shop you can trust and that many others have positive results from the same product.

your price IS more than fair and your work/feedback speaks for itself. that's why i put Vengeance as my #1 choice for the time being. i actually PM'd you a while back about having one opened up to 100mm and being painted sunset orange. i'm still planning on getting one too, but my car/build has suffered some unexpected setbacks and an intake isn't my top priority right now...another reason i started this thread: further research....

HOPEFULLY i can get one ordered before the end of March. it shouldn't be an issue.

I have one of Tony's ported FAST intakes. The questions I asked before deciding in which vendor to use is whether the intake is ported consistently from port to port and whether there has been flow table work to optimize the porting. Tony has done all of these things to establish his porting approach on the FAST. He not only flow tested his ports, but did so with the intake bolted to a head to ensure the gains were effective as a system, not just on the intake. If you had ever seen the final product, it looks more like an accurate CNC job then hand porting. I have a set of his heads as well, same observations. Consistent from chamber to chamber and flawless work.

I view it this way. You have a lot of money invested in your car and saving a couple of hundred bucks on this critical piece of gear is penny wise and pound foolish. As a percentage of the total investment, why not go with the best and a proven product.

i had one from vengeance dont know what the before and after gains were but i was dynoing 445rwhp and 380rwtq on a stock cube ls6, switched to bigger injectors and ported fast 90 from vengeance and retune and dynoed 489rwhp and 431rwtq all motor

I have a Mamo ported 90 and dropped almost 3 tenths in the 1/8th. Very impressive

The company I bought mine from called back the next day to ask what kind of heads I was running. So they could match the port job to the heads. On the side of the box it says "195cc port"
