Audible Ping but nothing on the scanner

Audible Ping but nothing on the scanner I can hear an audible ping like cheap gas under wot, but I see nothing on HP Tuners. My old oil burning 408 never had an issue with pinging. Everything in my setup is the same except for the pistons and block. The CR is the same, same heads, cam and headers. I did change from a catted true dual to a Kook's catted Y-pipe. I origionally had a Corsa catback on but that was way too loud. But when I did have it, I didn't notice any pinging. I swapped to a Magnaflow catback and began hearing it. I added Lucas Octane booster and made no difference. I scanned and noticed it was leaner so I added fuel, helped but not gone. I took away timing from 28* to 24* and changed to TR6 plugs. Once again it helped but still there. I made sure the knock sensors are using factory settings and still nothing. I don't get it, never had an issue before... Should I be looking somewhere else for the cause???
