Default "GO FAST" Mods suggestion

Ok. I wanted to compile a list of mods to do for my V6 to get more horsepower and torque. I was wondering if you guys had some suggestions on parts to get or consider. So far I want the K&N FIPK and Flowmaster 80 series muffler (found out I already have some custom pipes installed). I roughly want to add about an extra 100 RWHP to the car. So if you know of parts, or have links or anything, please let me know. Thank you.

Nitrous I am sort of thinking about. I am definitely going to get an intake and exhaust. I was looking at the K&N FIPK Air intake kit, as well as getting the SS emulation hood so it can breath easier. I have some custom pipes when I got the car, even look like it could be 3". I have to get a vernier tool to measure it. Most likely I just need A muffler, tailpipes, and tips. Any other suggestions? I know there has been more mods for V6 engines on Camaros than this right.

too much money in either of those two... go with nitrous.. you can do anything to a v6 you can v8.. heads/cam/exhaust/intake/gears/stall/ etc..

Well the exhaust will barely cost me $300 if that. The Air intake will cost a bit because I want to make sure I pass emissions (I live in Cali), and I trust K&N products. The SS emulation hood is to help put air in front of the intake and, of coarse, for looks. You can find some for about $300 on eBay. Not sure if I want to go regular or carbon fiber yet. That will help for any other upgrades that I decide to do. Headers was a big thing because I live in Cali (want to pass emissions without paying $200 to do it illegally), but I have seen that pacesetters have some that is suppose to be 50 state legal. Cam, gears, and stall I haven't thought about yet. I will start looking into those. Thanks.

there was a local v6 with full bolt ons tune and a cam running mid-high 8s in the 1/8... impressive, but sounded like ****..

Yea... my point was this is a GEN IV forum.. So i guess we should all tell you how to do a LS2 swap...

and from a V6 i cant help you.

It's really not worth it to upgrade the 6, the amount of money you have to spend to get small power increases is just not worth it. Start buying parts for a v8 swap.

I don't think I will do a V8 swap. Thought about it originally but Not going to do it anymore. I just want some pickup on the car, and this will be my DD when I get the NEW V8.

has nothing to do with good or bad mufflers... v6s with LT's exhaust, and a cam sound like complete **** at mid-WOT..
