LS1 vs LS2 vette balancer

LS1 vs LS2 vette balancer I mistakenly put this over in the internal section last night.
I have been searching but can't find anything conclusive. I need to know if the C5 LS1 style harmonic balancer and the 05 C6 style are interchangeable.
If you look up an 02 balancer and an 05 balancer on gmpartsonline it gives different pricing so I assume something if different about the parts?

Well, they are different part numbers and the stealership was useless in telling me if they would interchange. My gut says they will, but I guess theres a reason they have different P/N. And of course, the one I need is considerably more $$ and on nationwide backorder. Just my luck.
