Just about to order a DMH E-cutout. I have a completely stock exhaust system from the headers back up til the muffler which is a magnaflow. Where is the best place to put the E-cutout at? Also what size will I need to order? 2.5" or 3"? Or should I just get 3" and have the exhaust shop install 3" exhaust from the stock headers to the muffler?

what kind of car is it? If it is an f-body, you are in the wrong section, you need Gen III external. I'll assume f-body since you are talking single exhaust. In that case the best place is right under the rear seat on the passenger side. There is a lump in the floor there that is the perfect place for a cutout. You'll want to get a 3". There are 2 grommet near that location through which you can run the wires into the car. Make sure you use the grommet that is not directly inline with exhaust gases, or you will burn the wires most likely.
