LS1 Longblock + LS2 Shortblock

LS1 Longblock + LS2 Shortblock
I have a '99 T56 LS1 with some nice upgrades:
Katech Rod Bolts
TR 224/224 Cam
Melling Oil Pump
LS6 Timing Chain
LS6 Intake Manifold
1 3/4 Headers
Comp Spring, Retainer, Pushrod Upgrade
I was curious as what it would take to get an LS2 shortblock running using the parts that I could from my LS1.
I would put Heads (probably L92) and an Torquer 2 Cam on the LS2. Also would need new intake and the Lingefelter 24x Conversion (the shortblock I'm looking is 58x).
I know my oil pan would work but I believe that I would need new front and rear covers.
Also would eventually put a 200 Wet Shot on it. I assume the the LS2 bottom end could handle this no problem and that the Katech rod bolts could be reused...
Thanks,

Thats exactly what I'm doing right now as we speak, spent all day undoing the Tbss accessories and cleaning up the block (roll over in clay = nasty block). It's actually really easy if you just put the Ls1 right next to the Ls2, don't forget to change your temp sensor in the head and the oil pressure sending sensor behind the intake. Do that and throw on ur Ls6 intake w/new gaskets and plug in the Ls1 harness it'll drop right in.

LS1 & LS2 have cathedral intake ports.
You need an L76 car intake or LS3 intake to go with L92 heads.
Or L92 truck intake for going in a truck.
L92 on the left, Cathedral on the right.
