LS4 to LS2 hello,
hey does anybody know if you can use the front drive accessories (harmonic balancer, water pump, alternator) off a LS4 engine and place them on a LS1 or LS2. The LS4 has a very compact front drive a,nd would work nicely for a mid engine application I am working on. I read that the crank was shortened for the LS4 engine, maybe the LS1, LS2 crank could be modified to accept the LS4 harmonic balancer.
