Default L76 Build help pls?

High guys & girls...
I'm building a 95" Holden Rodeo (aka Izusu Pick-Up).
I bought a complete 5.7 that threw a leg outa bed with a 6speed behind it for $1000AUD. The only thing missin was the MAF!!
So I ripped the Cam, top end & all the acc's off it. Turfed the Bottom End & began looking for another Block to rebuild...
BUT, on my search I was offered a 6.0L Block that was parted out of a Holden VZ Cop Car that had been stollen & burnt out for $500AUD. So initially I was going to bolt all my 5.7 crap on the 6.0L until I was Informed that the 6.0L (L92) Heads flow a **** load better.
The following week I went back to the wreckers & purchased the Heads for another $250AUD!!

The Bore's need a Hone & the L92 Heads need to be cleaned up because of the water that had been left sitting in the Engine after the Fire Brigade had put the car out..
But thats a small price to pay I think..

I needed a Camaro Sump to fit this thing into the Rodeo & the Blokes over at Eagle MotorSport gladly Bent me over and fkd $700AUD out of me for one. Didnt even throw in an Oil Filter?
All I need now is a Manifold, Rails, Etc..

I purchased a VVT Timing Cover for $95USD last week &
I'd like to employ this technology if its not to much drama.

So thats my life story & what I would like to know is:
1)Can I modify the standard Cam to run the VVT? If yes, How?
2)Will I have clearance issues with the 5.7 Water Pump & VVT Cover?
3)Which PCM & Harness will I need to use with VVT?
4)What else will I need to do/know?
5)with a standard L92 Intake, 4 into 1 Extractors, 90mm TB & VVT what sort of HP could I expect to make?

Any Info, Opinions, Etc regarding this conversion will be much appreciated.
CHEERS!

If you want to run VVT then you'll need a stack of supporting parts that you do not already have. Total waste of money just for for the VVT **** factor IMO.
Due to the VVT front cover protruding further forward than the normal Gen 4 cover you'd need ( L92 balancer, L92 water pump, L92 intake, L92 belt driven accessories and brackets).
There is a thread on here somewhere where somebody just used the L92 balancer and then spaced the car water pump and all belt driven accessories forward. He then used an LS3 car intake.

You'd then need the L92 cam phaser assembly and programming not normally found in Oz. The L92 phaser will only bolt to a single bolt camshaft. You'd also need a new high volume oil pump, Oz L76 did not have this fitted.

Also it looks like the VVT pistons have valve reliefs, something else your Oz 6.0 L76 doesn't have.

VVT (in this case L92) and keeping the LS3 car intake and throttle body can be done. This guy has used 1.5" spacer blocks behind the car style water pump, and more spacers behind all the brackets for belt driven accessories.

Yesss, well I didn't think it would be a walk in the park...
Cheers for the info HSV-GTS-300
I think that new Cover can keep the rest of the useless **** on the shelf company for a while.

Next question..
Am I going to be Impressed just sticking the 5.7L crap on the 6.0L Block & possably a nice Cam?
OR
Is it worth spending the $1000 + on the L92 Manifold, Rails, etc?

PCM & Harness I can go either way as Ive got both..

Are there any full writeups or anything about adding VVT to an L76? Like the images HSV-GTS-300 gave, are they from such a thing? Or is it from something explaining VVT? I'm interested in the idea of adding it to my G8 depending on the cost of the parts.... Some of you seem to know what you're talking about and I follow what you're saying, but I'm not really able to connect the dots and interpolate, so to speak, what you're leaving out.

I'd go the 6.0 with L92 heads route.

Search "LS3 intake" on ebay.com
Intake, fuel rails and injectors together for US$399.

You'll need a 90mm 4 bolt TB to go with it.

Yeah, I didn't need much convincing to go with the L92's..
Cheers for the tip, I assumn you are talking about the Manifolds that EBay Store- "F.Parts" are selling...
I done another search on Ebay.au & ended up buying a complete Manifold from a bloke around the corner for $500AUD
