6.2 in Trans Am Whats up everyone...
I bought a pull out 6.2 engine from an 08 Caddy escalade, complete with trans and harness. What can I do with this setup and what all would I need to make it work in my 98 Trans Am?

well I just did an ls3 swap in my T/A and I used the 98 pcm and harness. Just follow the sticky in the gen 4 internal engine forum, lots of good info there. Now if you arre looking to use the caddy pcm and trans then you have a different project. Some of the dash functions are controlled by the 98 pcm so i'm not sure how you could make it work. It would be neat though to be able to use the vvt the l92 has. Maybe someone else has more insight on this.
im in the process of putting a LY6 (6.0 vvt) in my 94 Firebird... the project has been going for about a month and a half and I'm on the wiring stage. My brother does wiring for Toyotas, professionally, so he's doing the bulk of the wiring for me. I'm retaining the VVT due to torque advantages. I'll let you know how the wiring turns out, but it'll be running within the next couple of weeks.
all i have left besides electrical is:
-steering rack and pump
-driveshaft and torque arm
-tighten down the intake manifold bolts
-clutch master cylinder/bleeding
-bleed brakes
then im done
at least with what's required to get it running.
