Default oil pressure sensor ls3 in a 4th gen

I have a new ls3 motor in my 1999 camaro and was told I need to use a ls2 style oil pressure sensor because it is shorter than the ls1 style the only problem is that the connectors do not match. I am wondering if i can just use the ls1 style sensor since it works with my harness but I am not sure if it will fit right do to its taller height. also like many other people I am still waiting for the new LSXR intake to come out to see if it will clear

I reused my ls1 oil sensor as well. It sits higher, but the brake booster hose situation is no different thatn stock - just use care when removing and installing the hose so you don't break the sensor
