Default Removing pulley from LQ4

I'm using a 3 jaw puller to remove the pulley from the front of the motor, are there any clips i need to remove or bolts I can't see that would stop it from coming out? I'm putting a bolt in the hole and tightening down on that, any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Your doing it right. Just put the jaws around the pulley and put a bushing or washer in the middle of the pushing rod and crank.

I would use that three way and maybe a socket that fit the crank size so you dont have to worry bout screwin the threads up. good luck to ya

I would use a impact socket type there usually black socket

I just pull that LQ4 crankshaft pulley out. I use the tool loan (crankshaft pulley and harmonic balancer puller & installer set) from Advance Auto Parts.
If you can't solve with that, I ll post pixes...

i just removed one about a week ago, i had to use a impact gun with over 500/torque and it slid right off after about 20 seconds of hammering.
