Default gto tune ?s

i have a 05 gto just boltons .
the car was running great (11.60 in the 1/4 mile )
i did a gear swap,to 3.91 gears.
now i cant get the converter to lock.

05 ls2 kooks headers , ported stock intake, 3600 stall, other drivetrain mods

i do have hp tuners . i did the gear swap (a complete rear swap)
with a harrop cover .

anyone have any ideas?

the original tune was just headers and a 2800 yank converter.
what has been added is the intake manifold and the bigger stall

i cant figure out how to post it , or even e mail it .
im just wanting to know what may be happening to cause it .

Did you change the speedometer section in your tune for the gear ratio? Did you tell the system to auto scale the transmission tables?

If you didn't auto scale, the shift points do not get moved automatically in relation to the new axle ratio or tire size change. It changes the shift MPH settings in a few tables. You may want to try that.

iin the trans tune part the tcc auto , was disabled .could that be it ?

ok re wrote the tune with auto scale and found the tcc auto .

If you are talking about the Shift Lock, no. That keeps the torque converter locked during shifts. Not usually a good idea.

damn i was hoping that was it .
could the wheel speed sensors have anything to do with this ?

There are a few things that can. Spark knock will keep the TCC from engaging, the MAF can mess with the trans shifts and pressure. I am sure a speed sensor will also do this.

the only thing that changed was the rear diff
the car was raced a month ago, ran great .
even had the converter locking at 100mph .

Max out your misfire tables and see if it'll lock.

i have been getting a random misfire code , where is that ?
and i have been getting that code for a while ,when the motor is cold but only once in awhile .
