Question ARP Head Studs question

I know this may sound like a simple question, but what are the differences between the 4110, 4316 & 4317 head studs? I see that the 16's are for #-03 so I assume that the 17's are for 04-#, but what about the 10's?

I also see that one P/N say 12 point head, what else is there and which are better?

Thanks!

234-4110 = Early HEX head studs
234-4316 = Early 12 POINT head studs
234-4317 = '04 and later 12 POINT head studs

What are the differences and what determines which set I need? What I mean to say is, if I have a 03 block, but my heads are 07, how do I know what I need? These years are fictitious and used to make my point.

The heads don't matter, it's all about what year the block is (early or late are the only options).

Sorry Bro, just trying to understand... What is the difference between the early and late model blocks. I see from your site that the differences is in the length of the studs, right? So I a assuming that the pre-04 blocks had a more shallow threading, or am I guessing wrong?

Well my LQ4 is an 04, I guess I can't use the 4316's? A member gave me a sweet deal on them
