I've been thinking about re-doing my exhaust setup lately. Especially since going with a 4000 stall I really want something more quiet. Also the droning is getting annoying to where I don't even want to drive the car anymore. Plus, I refuse to drive to work early in the morning out of respect for my neighbors.
Here my current setup:
Refer to my sig.... pacesetters catless lt's, x-pipe, stock gto piping, into magnaflow 14616 bullet mufflers. Ive had this catback setup for years now. It drones wayyyy too much and is slightly too loud. It sounds killer at idle though.
Here's what I need:
A catback setup that flows as much if not more than what I have now..preferably more since I am constantly upgrading. I need it to NOT drone and be more quite than these worn out bullet magnaflows. It seems custom is the way to go since the mass produced systems cost upwards of $800...ridiculous! So I'm thinking of buying a 3" x-pipe some mandrel bends and 2 mufflers...not sure which at this point and having a reputable shop weld it all up for me.
