Hey guys, Im about to buy some headers for my 2000 SS.....I was wondering if anyone has any good suggestions on which brand to get, im looking to spend around $800 for the headers and the Y-pipe.....im gonna try putting them on the stock catback and see what it sounds like cause I hate the way most aftermarket catbacks tailpipes look.....please help me and give me some ideas wheather I use QTP, pacesetter, Hooker, Stainless works, SLP etc........thanks

 

For the price, pacesetter. For the better quality, kooks. But all the others are fine as well.

 

I ordered the Edelbrock super vics on their on line store for 400.00 shipped. They are the stepped headers 13/4to 17/8". They have no emission fittings and they are coated. These are a great deal.

 

Don't get SLP...i have them and I have heard nothing but bad things about them since I've had them. When ever I'm able to, I'm switching to kooks
