06 or 07 6.0 Im looking at buying a 6.0 liter out of an 2007 truck What kind of throttle body will it have will it be cable operated or drive by wire or what ever you call it? Im buying it to put in a fox mustang coupe so it would be easier to be cable operated. Im getting the cpu with it and haveing a custom harness made for it. If it is drive by wire can it be converted to a cable operated throttle body and still use the same cpu? Im also going to use the 4l80e trans out of the same truck.
I would use the cable. Where are you getting the PCM tunned from? If you are getting a custom wiring harness, tell them not to put in the drive by wire hook-up. That should solve this.
