Ls3 vs ls9 I have a few the questions on ls9 heads, can i use a l76 intake and how thick are the deck , I know the l92's are .300 or .400 . If there thicker that would be the head to use for FI the mastsport l92's are just to costly.
The deck thickness on the production L92 heads measures .500".
The LSX L92 heads have an additional 1/8" of thickness.
I haven't been able to section a LS9 head yet so I don't have a clear answer. Sorry.
