Default RAM air with FRA?

I have already done the free ram air mod to my air box and was wondering if a lower ram air box would be beneficial. Reason I'm asking is my VFN hood let's a lot of air in. I can't keep my engine bay clean.

I would think so, if you seal it off to the hood. Theres a ram air kit that does that.

Thanks for the quick response!

-I wonder how that kit would work with a normal airbox?

-I thought i read somewhere that RAM AIR was basically a gimmick since the nose directs air over the intakes?

-But on the other hand
My engine bay picked up a lot of dirt with the VFN hood scoops open, so that would say that the hood DOES ram some air. Crap i wish i could remember where that thread was where someone tested the air input from the RAM air hood vs FRA.
