Question Ignition Box or Front Drive Distributor?

Which is better and Why? I'm most likely going to be using this setup...

i,m going with msd 6012 for my carb ls7 ..its cheaper for me

MSD box will plug in, is more tunable, and will take care of all the headaches. Plus be easier to install and operate/maintain.
