power limits

U have a 08 silverado s/c swb I'm swapping a lq4 into. I'm almost positive I have a 4l60e tranny, what's my limits of horsepower and torque on the this stock tranny

They seem to be limited more to high RPM than power levels. Buzz it past 6500 and the failure rates get high. Below that they seem to be pretty stout. Just be sure to stall according to your cam choice

Trucks are heavy and the weaklinks on the stocker tend to be the sunshell gear and input sprags. The Beast sunshell and hardened inputs seem to be basic common upgrades in rebuilt 60e's and depending what you need and want to spend go from there...
