i bought a set of low mileage LQ9 pistons and rods and as i was cleaning the carbon off of them i came across this very small chip on this piston. will it be ok to use in a 6.0 iron block or should i buy new pistons? here are the pics

I would guess it won't nick the sidewalls and it's no more a hot spot point than the '5" in there. I also would think if you're rings are good, not a compression issue either.
Good luck.
