Default LS3 427 SS and stage 2 4L60E

Finally, I have the means to get a LS3 427 SS crate from mast motorsports and a stage 2 4L60E from performabuilt. I may take it to the track every now and then but not too often. I won't beat up on it all the time but I want it to be able to be streetable and have the power with it. So anyways, u guys think it would be ok to keep the 10bolt on the car making that kind of power? It seems like silly question but I'm seeking advice based off of u guys personal experience.

as long as you drive it like a normal person and don't do drag racing with it or brake stands that 10 bolt will live forever, start abusing it and thats when it starts to die

Start saving for an 9" or 12 bolt with power you have you will use it especially when some cocky Mustang Owner comes up to you.

It certainly would help to have a better rearend but the auto cars are easier on the 10 bolt because of the drivetrain pre-loading. IMHO I would have a rearend on my to-do list if I were you, but a 10-bolt should be fine as long as you aren't using a trans-brake or beating on it too hard.
