Default Msd blaster coil kit

HI- Besides dressing up your engine to look really cool, do these have any real performance value for the money?? I've read the claims, but I've talk to guys that tell me even your stock plug wires & plugs, coils etc are adequate that this is just overkill and ALOT of $$$ -need to know if there is a real world performance difference before i kill the piggy bank

thanks to all

I think the truck coils are the best to go with from what I've gathered so far. Heard alot of the MSD coil packs go out. Me personally I dont have either but will have the truck coils on my currently being built by HKE Enterprise LSX 454.
