Default need advices intakes!

well im going FI. build is a darton mid sleeved ls1 block. heads will be afr 225s or their new 245s.

my thing is what intake should i get.

A non ported ls6 intake with the tpis 90mm mod done to it or a ported ls2 intake.

i know that the ported ls2 is ok. i also know that the ls6 intake with the tpis mod done to it makes the same or just a slight less than a non ported fast 90. i currently have a fast90. but ive heard many stories of these intakes not being good for boost.

i would rather switch back to a 1 piece intake manifold(cathedral preffered) i need the afrs cause i want the thick deck they come with.

let meknow guys.

I know some guys have taken the Fast intake a part and sealed it. You might try that. How about a Weiand alum. intake? It would be strong enough. The Fast also has burst panels that can be added. They are for N2O, I don't know if they are for FI cars.

ill prob get bashed for saying this but have you looked at the typhoon intake. i have one on mine and i had it match ported to my heads before the install. the fasts have all the hype but i never thought they were worth it unless your going to use it for a port injected wet nos kit. the typoons can be cleaned up very nice and the panel on the bottom is removable and it seals great. alot of people knock them but i wouldnt. and they have them in mm sizes above 100.
