GMPP LS2/3 engine management; DBW, TAC etc... I have a motor that started life as a L92 and is now a forged bottom end 382, conventional cam, LS3 heads blah blah, with a L92 truck intake and throttle body. I bought a LS3 stand alone from GMPP to run the motor. I believe they list it to run their LS3 crate motors. The operating software in the computer is for a 2006 caddy CTS-V, so in order to tune it I will need the VIN from said vehicle. Now, I am trying to figure out what I need to use for a DBW to run this set up. Did the 2006 cts-v have a TAC module? I have the pedal that came with the GM stand alone kit, but I dont know what throttle body came on the LS3 crate motors, and if I need that throttle body or will mine work? Also, do the crate motors come with a throttle body and TAC? or what... anyone shed some light on this for me PLEASE

I was wondering also, can anyone think of somewhere I can call from GM to ask this question? My local dealer doesnt know squat and GMPP didnt have a tech number I could find on their site.

Don't worry about the CTS-V Configuration. It's a cuatom system anyway. If you use HP Tuners or EFI line they will work with the system. You don't need a vin either. At one point HP Tuners required you to use a vin but they fixed that.
I have't looked at the L92 manifold since I put it on the shelf 3 years ago. The connectors should work and you should be able to tune the deal pretty easily.
