LS2 into F-Body
I will be putting an LS2 into my 1998 Formula.
What all will I need to change in order for it to be compatible?
I will be putting all my accessories onto the engine, LS1 Oil pan, along with my FAST 92 and fuel rails.
What about the PCM? Cam sensor? Knock sensors? Dipstick? Anything else to consider.
Thanks!

you can use your same computer if the LS2 has the 24x reluctor. you will have to drill and tap the sides of the block for the LS1 knock sensors and extend the wiring. also extend the wiring for the cam sensor since it is in front of the timing cover. also have to swap 2 wires around when extending the plug for the cam sensor. you can buy a conversion kit that comes with the extensions. you will also have to possibly grind down the bolts on the back of the f-body water pump so they dont hit the timing cover. those are the main things. if you do a search you will find a couple good detiled threads.
Check the sensor behind the starter. Black color sensor is a 24x and the white/grey is a 58x.
Katech sells adapter harnesses. Here is their swap page.

Lingenfelter also sellsadapter harnesses and an adapter box to swap in a 58x motor to convert the signal. The converter box is under store/electrical/engine and transmission controllers. Additional wiring adapters can be found under sensors & wiring harnesses.

you could also just screw the LS1 sensor into any un-used hole on the side of the block. i chose to just drill and tap the correct locations. it only took 5 minutes.
