ls6 intake swap-parts needed??
ls6 intake swap-parts needed?? A knock sensor went bad on my car, so when i get them replaced i figured that would be the right time to swap to a ls6 intake. When looking for an intake im not sure all what i need. Some are selling with fuel rail, throttle bodies, injectors, and coolant crosover. Now i know my throttle body will bolt up to the ls6, and i dont need the injectors cause i read the 98's have the good ones- but do i need one with the coolant cross over?? thanks guys, just dont want to buy stuff i dont need

Yes you need the coolant pipe and the 2 rear plugs. Here check out this link. Very informative!! Shows you what you need and how to install it..

You can also grind the ridges of the bottom of the intake to where you won't need these
