2004 6.0 head bolt question
2004 6.0 head bolt question I just picked up a 2004 6.0 engine with the 317 heads.
PUlled the heads and it had the 3 different size head bolts in it.
I thought the 04 should have the new 2 size head bolts in it.
block casting number 12551364. any thoughts?
thought the 03 was the last year for the 3 size bolts.

The '04 blocks will go either way. Was probably an early '04 or '03 motor. Just roll with the long and short bolts and you will be fine. We have them on the shelf if you need them! What head gaskets are you running and we can get you some compression numbers?

what can you do on the ARP studs?
I was planning on using the GM MSL gasket have had great luck with them.
What would be a sweet powerful cam to put inthis bad boy?
Its a track car and driven some definately not a daily driver.
