I need Help!! I'm in situation and I'm not sure what route to take to fix it. I just returned from deployment and before I left my camaro took a crap. So while on deployment I purchased a 6.0l block and had planned to go 408 stroker with it. The person I bought the block from was good friends with one of my buddies and said that he could do the build of my short block for an unbeatable deal. So during the process of the build I sold a Fast 92 to buy a LS3 intake to run on some L92's. Well I returned a week ago and my motor was finished two days ago however I was informed that the builder thought it would better to only bore it to 4.005 instead of 4.030 to save on the life of the motor. So I am stuck with a 403ci motor instead of 408ci motor and from what I have researched I would have to go back to a cathedral head to make decent power. I am on a budget and really would het to have to sell my intake setup only to go back to what already had. I know the L92's only require aminimum of 4.00 bore and I would be able to run them however my goal was to run low 11's on motor and be around 480rwhp thru a stalled auto. Would this be possible to achieve if I went with a texas L92 H/C package or WCCH L92 head with a Custom grind cam. I' am really trying to avoid going back to cathedral heads. If anyone has any knowledge that will help me that would be greatly appreciated.
