In case something WEIRD happens to your SLP Radiator ... Got hm last night and while parking I heard a loud PING then saw smoke coming from the passenger side headlight from under the hood. I got out to look under the hood and noticed a puddle of coolant on the ground.
Coolant was slightly splattered through the engine bay. Imagination running to terrible fears I went back to the puddle and found a hard plastic cap and BALL BEARING
The bearing was warm so I knew it came from my car SOMEWHERE and I threw it and the cap in the back seat.
At the shop earlier we discovered an open hole/port in the radiator right under the radiator fill cap
Come to find out it's probably a universal radiator that has a port for a heater hose that just gets capped off for our cars.
Gonna put the bearing back in the hole with a bunch of epoxy and cap it; getting a radiator flush while I'm at it.
