PROCOMP l92 heads.. anyone run them? thinking about getting a set...
i need thicker decks so i can run more boost over the OEM heads...
i would like to get some info on them before i spend the change

Just make sure you match the heads/cam/intake/headers to the engine size. Bigger is not necessarily better.

Last month's Hot Rod did a comparison test with a 11 cathedral port heads on a 408ci. I think the ProComps heads made the most peak power and did well in other areas as well.
Just make sure you match the heads/cam/intake/headers to the engine size. Bigger is not necessarily better.

i'm more worried about 18-21psi with a 91mm turbo

Procomp seems to be tossing alot of their parts at magizine builds lately. I guess they are trying to get their name out there. They need to update their website to offer ALL products they supply to magizine builds.
You get what you pay for...look at the LSA heads or the LS9 if you want a cheap alternative to the L92 that is still square port and has the bigger valves. I just bought a set of the LSA heads they are cast from a stronger material T356 and roto-cast much stronger head than the L92.
