Which headers to get.
Which headers to get. I've had my TA for a while now and have finally decided to actually do some engine mods. I've been told that headers are a great place to start, so that's what I'm doing.
I've decided to go with long tubes for price and performance. I can deal with an ORY since I doubt I will ever go through an emissions test or be pulled over for noise in my area. My biggest concern is ground clearance.
I'm looking at Hooker at the moment, as I'm a fan of the Holley line and have heard good things, but how is the ground clearance? Are there any other brands of similar quality and price with better clearance?
Please tell me what you guys have and how your clearance is. All comments are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

this is the gen IV section, not that it matters for headers really but, you might get more responses in the gen III section. I'm running TSP 1 7/8 on my LS3 with great ground clearance!

i have a set of jet hot 1" 3/4 full ceramic coated headers for sell. never been out of the box. comes with everything needed gaskets and all!!! pm me back. i have to get rid of these so considerable offers will be highly thought about!!!

i had the "old" style slp headers on my ls1, the ground clearance was horrible. I guess the "new" style slp headers are suppose to be much better, but why pay for SLP's over priced parts anyway?
+100.....seems like everything they carry is WAY overpriced....65+ bucks for a smooth bellow that anyone can make from materials at Lowe's for 4 dollars.....OUCH
