thinking about going LQ9...looking for advice

thinking about going LQ9...looking for advice I currently have an LT1 355 with TEA CNC heads and Comp 230/236 cam in my car and it only made 353hp N/A through the drive line in my sig....
From what I have been seeing is guys are making more than that through a cam only LQ9s with tons of room to grow...
I am looking for a low budget swap that won't cost me a fortune and make more power than my current setup...I know I can get a motor for around 2k.
also....Will my TH350 bolt up to the motor? also what size injectors do most guys run with them cam only? I have Bosch III 42lbs in my Car now that I would like to try and use if possible....

Sounds like the exact same situation I am in and the exact solution I am going with (LQ9, L92 heads, LS3 intake, A4 trans and 9" rear)! LQ9 longblocks seem to run $1300 - $1600 in my area through car-part.com with around 60-80k miles.
The TH350 should bolt up no problem, the tq converter may need a spacer depending on the style.
I will be using the stock LS3 injectors on my cam only application and they should be more then sufficient.
