Default Trick Flow Heads?

I recently got my AES 390 forged engine with Trick Flow 220 fully asembled heads. My question is what else do I need to install on the heads before I throw the valve covers on. I know the stock rockers from my ls1 can be reused but what about the lifters? Do I need to get new ones or can I use my old ones as well? I've heard the LS7 lifters are a good option but I need everyone's opionions. Sorry for the dumb questions and any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Depending on the mileage i would replace the lifters since you already have the heads off. It would suck to pull the heads off just to change lifters in the near future.
You should only use the stock rockers if you had powdered metal guides and platinuim/gold valve springs installed, If not i would use roller rockers. Dont forget you will need different length pushrods.

Use roller rockers and you will need longer pushrods (7.500").

as was said roller rockers are recommended for the Trick Flows. Def measure for the correct pushrod length, should be in the 7.5 range.

As to why the roller rockers are required, im not to sure, maybe it has to do with the valve angle being changed and the location of the rocker tip using the stock unit.

Lifters you can use LS7 units (may raise the pushrod a little, again measure) Im using comp stock replacments, but def go ahead and replace with a new set so you wont have any trouble later on.

OP has 7.450" pushrods, that was our measurement, block is decked, low lift cam, mostly likely reason for the .050" shorter pushrod.
