WIll the, 98-02 LS1 Nick Williams 102mm Throttle Body create a decent amount of HP for my stock LS1 or is there a better TB to recomened

Youd need it on a 102 intake and the two together work VERY well in the hands of a skilled tuner

That's a BIG opening for a stock LS1. You're really not going to reap a lot of positives with a 102mm TB/Manifold setup on a stock LS1. The engine only needs so much air. A 90/90 setup would be better IMHO and even then on a stock motor you're really not taking advantage of it.

I recommend stock until you have a lot more done. Heads/cam/etc. I gained 5hp on my LS7 with a big cam with a NW102.

Untill you start limiting your engine with the stock setup there is no need for a 102/102. You would just be creating a whole lot of problems for yourself.
