Default 1.8 Rocker Q

I have a L76 engine in my vmax truck and I'm planning on putting a blower on this thing. Would 1.8 or 1.85 rockers help the blower on the stock l92 heads/cam/short block? I'm not planning on running a ton of boost or anything.

I don't want to pony up the money for a cam swap right now. Just curious to see if I'd gain anything with the rocker ratio and the blower.

Ok I'm looking to possible slap a blower onto my L76 LSx engine. (Aluminum 6.0L with LS3 heads.) Would putting on some 1.8 or 1.85 rollers help my performance at all? I am not really ready to do a full cam swap yet, but I wouldn't mind slapping some push rods and rockers in her. Then add the vortech tune and run her like that.

I know a cam would be better but I'm not looking to spend another ~$1200-1500 for a proper cam set up. I can get pushrods and 1.80 rollers for $500 or less.

Factory cam is 198/209 .500/.500 on a 116.

1.8 would give .529/.529
1.85 would give .544/.544

Thoughts, comments, concerns appreciated.

I realize that high ratios add more stress to the valve train but I'm ok with that lol.

IMO you would not see much of a power gain by going to a 1.8 ratio, especially on a boosted motor. These motors do not respond to lift nearly as well as they respond to duration. You may pick up 5rwhp with the rockers, where you will gain a better power band, and more power with a properly specced boost cam.

Yah that is kind of what I was thinking. I was hoping maybe under boost I'd see more then the claimed 5-15hp the rockers give.
