block off one side of exhaust?
Hey guys,
Im trying to quite down my truck in an unusual way for a reason, im wondering if placing a vacuum valve on one side of my exhaust after the x-pipe would reduce the exhaust note at idle and part throttle cruise?
The vacuum valve is designed to kick in at zero vacuum - or boost but regardless of that what do you guys think?
The reason I want to do this is so the other side, the one blocked off acts as a resonator tube, for those who have looked into resonator tubes. The last time I asked this question, people started asking me more questions instead of trying to help , so forget about the resonator tube and forget about the valve, will blocking off one side of a dual exhaust after the x-pipe do anything to exhaust noise?
thanks
