Safe for milling heads depends on cam specs and gasket thickness as well. Do you know the rest of the combo yet?

I was wanting to use all the stock stuff from the LS2. Cam , crank,Rods pistons and oil pan. He is using just the block and heads and is gonna sale/ give me the stock stuff. I just didnt know if it would work in my block going 05 to 07 . This being my first Time dealing with a LS base engine thanks in advance

took the windage tray off tonight and its more than just a spun bearing. the crank is broke at the #4 cap so full build is the plan now .
