Default Ls3 conversion

Can I convert a ls1 to an ls3 and if so how do I do it. I am probably gonna start from scratch. So I would love some tips.

No way not a chance.
You need a bore of 4.065 Ls1's have a 3.8?? Bore.

Of your starting from scratch and want more cubes then just get that block resleaved and go to a bore bigger than an Ls3 then that way you can run an Ls7 head just my .2

I think he means put an LS3 in an LS1 car.

The easiest/cheapest way to do what you want to do would be to use an LQ4/LQ9 with an LS3 top end like i did. It's closer to an L76 than an LS3, but if you can live with 12 fewer cubes, a little less compression, and more weight, it's not a bad idea. Haha
