Help me choose a head cam pkg.

I recently just purchased an LS2 out of the G8 and I want to redo the headend cam. I'm looking for over 450 wheel horsepower and I want to stay under $2000 what your thoughts. I also need a car intake bc the guy I bought it from used it and put a truck intake on and it's ugly as hell. This is going to my 1967 nova which is a pro touring build with a T 56 transmission.
I literally don't know anything about Chevys Or ls engines so if you guys can advise me on which vendors to go to and which Stay away from I just looking for the best bang for my buck. I'm not looking to set any records I just want a lot of power out of the car for just fun street driving.
Name some products.... just need a starting point.

Texas speed one on the vendors on the right. Give them a call with your budget and goals and they will set you up. Very fair prices and very knowledgeable about ls engines.

Yeah I heard of them... I know there are several aftermarket heads outthere but I just don't know if one is better than the other. What's gonna be my best route for a total pkg. Heads and cam at under 2k?

Here, might put you a little over 2k when you add up all the little things you need like gaskets/fluids/bolts/etc... but just call them up and they will get you all set up

So I guess next question is what's the difference between the truck engine and the car? I'm thinking of just getting a head a cam package anyways plus a ls intake to achieve my hp goals. What front pieces do I need to complete the swap? Is a truck front timing cover different than cars? I'm assuming I need a car water pump now? Which alt and a/c works with vintage air and keeps in down low?
