LSX block what lifters?

Maybe this will shed some light on what i am talking about you will clearly see the lsx block does in fact take different trays due to the 6th head bolt location. http://www.highperformancepontiac.co.../photo_06.html

I relize the trays are not used just showing they are in fact different and according to GM the lsx blocks all have .842 lifter bores not the larger ones=

Got a email today from Chris Straub stating the corrrect lifters are 5274 for the lsx block the only difference is the tie bar which has a dogleg to clear the bolt hole! So at least we can put this one to rest!!

Just wanted to update this thread. I've been running the Morel 5206 in my LS1 and LS2 for several years and wanted to update them for my latest build. The only ones currently available were the 5274. I wanted to make sure that they were identical ... including pre-load before I bought them so I had the shop that works on my car call Ed Morel, whom they are personal friends with. Ed confirmed that they are identical except for the link bar and they are good to go as a replacement for the 5206 on a LS1/LS2.
