Couple Quick LS2 Questions
Couple Quick LS2 Questions The wife and I acquired an LS2 longblock earlier this week, and with it came some questions that I have not been able to find answers to. We have already built up an LQ4 to swap into her Impala, but withthe acquisition of the LS2, we would like to drop that in instead. So my questions are related to swapability of parts between the LQ4 and LS2.
1. Can an LS1 intake, TB, Fuel rail and injectors be used on an LS2? The injectors are from a 99 vette and the tb is from a 98 camaro.
2. If the TB can be used, what is needed to make the LS2 harness work with it?
3. Do truck accessories bolt up to the LS2? Common sense tells me yes. All we would need to do is swap on the truck crank pulley.

Upon further digging, I now know that I have a 58x reluctor. Not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing. It seems like this motor is going to require quite a bit more money now. Still would like to have my questions answered if possible.

Upon more digging, it seems that we may be able to use the Lingenfelter box to retain most of the parts we have collected for the LQ4 swap. So, maybe I answered all my own questions after a few days of intimate time with google. If there are any other suggestions or anything, please post up. I would be the first person to admit that I overlooked something by accident.
