So there is a slight sqeal which gets louder when I start the engine and also turning it off. I wasn't accelerating hard just normal from a stop light when it starting cutting out and sputtered like it had bad gas. I alwas use high octane so I know thats not it. I let it idle in the driveway when I got home and it didn't do anything even when I lightly stepped on the accelerator. Its the loud squeak when I start it and turn it off that concerns me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I just washed and waxed and I wanna drive without worry.

 

Have you verified if it is some kind of belt squeak or a pulley?
