underdrive vs coolant temp

I am aware of all the side-effects of underdriving an accessory system. I am specifically interested to know if anyone here has had any ill effects on cooling ability using a 25% underdrive crank pulley since that is the only pulley you can not replace with a smaller one to compensate. Thank you.

i had a 25% underdrive on a 402, and it never got hot. Did not have any problems with charging either.

After my last build (that included powerbond 25% UDP) my coolant temps were higher than usual. Also I noticed my lights flicker. I cant for sure say its the pulley but I guess it could according to what I have read. This is on my ls1 with a-4 trans.

I have an A4 with an SLP UD and it's fine. Car runs nice and cool. I did have a very slight charging issue for a year, but I finally just swapped out the Alt. pulley and it started charging fine and I've never seen the coolant temp rise.

Now the UD and the alt. are going on my stalled 402 and I dont expect to see anything happen either.
