Ls1 to ls6 intake swap

I have a 99 Camaro with ls1 intake and plan to swap to a ls6. What if any are the tricks or complications. Is this hard.

Its not hard at all, just unbolt the ls1 and bolt on the ls6. Just make sure nothing falls down the intake ports of the heads.

If I'm not mistaken, You have to block to EGR because the LS6 does not have EGR capabilities. I would also double check the throttle body fitment. Just my 2 cents.

Just helped do this on a 98 t/a. We had to sand down the plastic ribs on the bottom of the ls6 intake for it to fit correctly.

Follow a write up,there are a few good ones on tech,the job isnt hard, also would be a good time to install a mechanical oil gauge if ya had plans to do that
