Billet Specialties modular valve covers crankcase vent
I am planning to install a set of Billet Specialties LS modular valve covers on a customer's LS376, but I'm not sure about the crankcase vent. There is a port in the front of the cover where you can install a fitting for the crankcase vent tube, but there is absolutely no baffel over this port and it is low, right above the head. I'm concerned that oil will easily slosh into this port and flow through the tube into the air intake. Has anyone used these valve covers or delt with this problem before? The instructions don't say anything about crankcase venting and I really don't want to have to run a catch can.
TIA.

I read Abear went out of business. Maybe because no one could afford their valve covers.

Here they are on the engine. I think they are pretty sporty albeit expensive.

Billet Specialties modular valve cover crankcase vent question
Hello, curious what you ended up doing? I have a set of these on my LS3 525hp in a 68 Camaro.. also running a holley intake single port.. I've added a catch can but its filling up quickly.. thinking about adding a second catch can hooked up to the passenger side valve cover..
Any comments will be appreciated..
Thanks,
Rob
