You shouldnt remove them cuz they keep the intake clean. Should fit good.

Oh.. lol. Darn. I removed them. Wonder if I can get new ones.

Didn't see an answer and it seemed like every fast intake install I saw didn't have them.

Why the fast 92 onto an LS2?
The 102 bolts straight on with no mods at all.
With the fast 92 you'll need adapters for your lS2 fuel rail or use an LS1 fuel rail.
Also you'll have to extend the Map sensor wiring from the front LS2 to the rear on the 92, 102 gives you a choice of front or rear Map location.
Just fitted the 102 to my LS2 with std LS2 TB, took about 1 1/2 hours being maticulous, started and idled perfect first time.
102 way better than LS2.

Which part of that has to do with my question? lol

Na but seriously, I will break it down for ya.

Because I have an FD Rx7.

Not in my car. Well maybe if you don't want to run a hood....and smash the firewall in even more so than I had to with the 92.lol

I have ls1 RSI billet rails. No worries there.

I don't, because I had my 92 modded by Spinmonster so I reloacted the MAP to the front.

Believe me if I could have ran a 102 I would have.

You don't need to bite my head off, I just wondered why, didn't know the engine was a conversion.
