ATI Dampner vs Stock LS3 - Why Change?
Hi Guys
The stock balancer looks horrid, but hey GM put it there and warrantys the motor.
At what point should we ditch it and fit an ATI super dampner, when does it make sense and why?
I'm going to run around 550rwhp in my turbo LS3 and might run to 700rwhp briefly for a drag run or 2. Will shift at 6k
Stock ok?

GM doesn't warranty it at 500rwhp or 700rwhp either. Looks like you have dropped some nice coin into your build, don't cheap out on the pulley. A power bond is reliable as well.

Thanks guys, I will go ATI.
Does it change anything that I have to connect to an LS1 computer and therefore have to change the crank trigger to match LS1, or will same damper fit either way?
