Default L92 vs LS3 Questions

I am considering doing an LS conversion and would like to use an LS3. I have been trying to compare the L92 and LS3. I looked through the dyno posts and don't see many people using an L92.

If I were to upgrade to an LS3 intake and fuel injectors, VVT delete, then add a cam, would the output be same or close to the output of the LS3 with the same cam?

Thanks. I had read that. I thought it would allow higher RPMs and potentially higher peak numbers. What affect would they have at 5000rpm on each engine. Any difference in performance at the same RPMs?

Probably little to no effect at 5000 RPM.

You could do that, but I'd just go with the LS3. It leaves you a lot more upgrade options down the road.
